Veteran-owned, Family Operated

Green Biz is locally owned and operated by Todd Meschelle, an Army combat veteran who served the United States as part of the 82nd Airborne Division, Military Police, and in-field artillery at Ft. Bragg. After serving in Korea and other areas of the world, Todd served in Operation Enduring Freedom in Agghanistan. Todd and his wife, Sheila (a Manatee County native who also works with Green Biz), have been married for 24 years and have three grown children, Jennifer (amazing mom to Todd & Sheila's grand babies), Nathan (who operates a thriving fishing company in Cortez), & Matthew (an Airforce veteran).

Neighborhood & Community Inspired

In addition to creating magical lawns and landscapes, Todd and Sheila are active in the community and their neighborhood. Todd serves the West Coast No. 409 Masonic Lodge in multiple capacities, including as the former lodgemaster. In addition to their charitable work through the Masons, Todd and Sheila support several charitable organizations including the Susan B Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Wounded Warriors program. They also donate their time to assisting organizations cleaning up after the red tide crisis of 2018. They spent countless hours removing deceased animals from the beaches, and most recently donated their time and resources to repopulate the fish and shellfish supply in the surrounding waters. .
